The Best Dressed Stars At Cannes Film Festival 2019by | May 15, 2019
The Cannes Film Festival is back for its 72nd year, bringing with it the biggest stars from across the globe to the French Riviera. From the 14th until the 25th of May, Boulevard de la Croisette, which is home to the most luxurious hotels and boutiques in Cannes, will be buzzing with star-studded premieres, gala events, and glamourous after-parties.
With a carefully curated roster of upcoming films that will be showcased at the twelve-day event, the Cannes Film Festival is one of the most prestigious platforms for cinematic recognition. After having premiered some of the greatest films in history over the years, this year too will see highly-anticipated films including The Dead Don’t Die, a zombie comedy starring Tilda Swinton, Bill Murray, and Selena Gomez; Pain And Glory starring Penelope Cruz; and Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon A Time In Hollywood with Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt in the lead.
In addition to extraordinary cinema, the Cannes red carpet is a sartorial playground for attendees, and has been home to some iconic fashion-forward moments. With a fortnight of high fashion ahead of us, here are the best red carpet looks from Day 1 at the Cannes Film Festival.
