Set amidst sprawling grounds which are surrounded by trees and lush greenery, the property is spread over 20 acres of land, comprising an orchard, French and English gardens, outdoor courts, bridges, streams and more. Pear, fig and apple trees can be found in the vast orchard, followed by fresh produce of cucumber, tomatoes and Provencal vegetable in the garden. For leisure and relaxation, there is also an infinity pool and a library, along with a multitude of dining choices which include alfresco dining in the patio. To anyone who views it, the Elysian views of the land look straight out of an illustrated storybook.

According to the website, the first building, along with the chapel, was built in 1614, the construction for the château being undertaken later by François Bénézet de Tourreauand in 1750. For a structure that has withstood the vagaries of time, weather and wars—the French Revolution—the château is in unparalleled conditions, thanks to the care undertaken over time.
