Looking For A Vacation Home In Goa? We Have The Address You Can Call Home

Owning a vacation home in Goa is a ubiquitous dream. Which one of us hasn't dreamt of sleeping to the calming sound of waves or waking up to balmy seas dotted with palm trees? Goa offers you the perfect landscape and the ideal lifestyle that will release you from the shackles of hectic city life for a more tranquil one. If these are the thoughts swimming in your head, then we have just the address for you.

Kriss Real Estate is developing a luxury real estate project called Si-oul Villas that will give you an opportunity to enjoy Goa’s pristine landscape while ensconced by luxury. Nestled in Siolim, in the heart of North Goa, the project includes three villas: Sol, Lua, and Terra that translate to the sun, the moon, and the earth. Think avant-garde design that meets function. Each villa has been spatially and structurally designed to mimic the elements of their namesake ethereal bodies.

Inspired by the work of iconic architect Geoffery Bawa, the villas feature cooling and shading aspects to help moderate the temperature naturally within each home by creating microclimates that align the sun and wind paths. Created through extensive collaboration between experienced design and engineering teams, the villas integrate natural elements like the surrounding foliage and water bodies into the design of the home. Features such as curved walls, sun-roofs, glass-inlaid floors, and artfully open areas lend each villa a contemporary and rustic aesthetic that draws from the land’s inherent lines and color palettes.

Sol

Encapsulating the beauty of the sun, the ’sun’ house flaunts exposed red laterite stone exteriors that reflect from the silver metal sun-screens. The interiors of the home have warm brass accents, an internal water body, and a red brick wall, all of which create a visual and textural impact. Opening up to a courtyard lined with trees, it is an attempt to fuse the natural landscape with the property. Clean lines and a sense of subdued elegance evoke a fusion of contemporary design and tropical elements, which is a signature of the project’s vision.

Lua

The ‘moon’ house, Lua, embodies the moon with its dark slate-textured stonewalls and a crescent-shaped pool. With a semi-open observatory room, the villa has a setting of cool grey expanses punctuated by intimate areas. Enhanced with curved pathways, circular motifs, and sleek lines, the home embraces fluidity in a sensual yet functional way.

Terra

Terra, the ‘earth’ house, is reminiscent of the tranquil and enveloping nature of our planet. With sweeping sights of the Chapora riverside, the villa boasts of secluded outdoor terraces where one can enjoy the view and the sound of the river flowing. Terra’s rubble walls, muted Pantone hues, filigreed light inlets, and pristine water courtyards evoke the feeling of a private Eden. The home also has an infinity pool and features a rare selection of flora to give the muted aesthetic a curated burst of colour.
