All That Bread

Okay so you overestimated the amount of bread you would need to fix a meal, and now it's sitting there, staring at you. We got you covered. Turn it into breadcrumbs to use later—all it needs is heating in an oven and running through a food processor; stir up some soup and add some toasted croutons as a side to your meal (toasting in the oven does it) or make some rolls, using veggies as stuffing and grilling in the oven.

Vegetables

Stir fry them; grill them and add to a salad; make a smoothie; use them as a delectable mix for a sandwich or go up a notch and make a one-pot noodle/rice meal—the possibilities for using vegetables, whether cooked or not, are endless. You can also add them in some comfort food, read Mac 'n Cheese, a casserole or an easy breakfast omelette. And if you are feeling up to it, get them chopped and dip them in some white vinegar for some easy, instant pickle. Sounds good, right?

Chicken & Turkey

Other than the usual soup and stir fry that comes in handy if you are in a fix, a stuffed sandwich or a wrap works wonders. Get creative and recycle the leftover chicken into cutlets served with home-made dips, or try your hand at some enchiladas! You could also add two sets of leftover meals—think rice or noodles with chicken or a hearty spaghetti, adding veggies to the mix.

On Toast

Trust us, everything goes. Those baked beans or veggies that were extra last dinner? Add them. An extra side of eggs? Yes! Like we said, close to everything works when added to a crunchy piece of toast. Use cheese, pickles, dips and spreads as accompaniments and you are good to go for a hearty breakfast.

Don your chef's hat and try a pizza quiche or add some eggs to make yourself an unforgettable frittata, Leftover croutons? Great to go with soup in your next meal! Or if you aren't a fan of the crust, salvage the toppings and make yourself an omelette, sandwich, wrap or sub.
